











Goldie Lou James Knotts was born on March 28, 1928 just down the road in Parthenon, AR. She grew up on Round top mountain, above Jasper, AR. She married Dick Knotts on May 12, 1951 and they moved to California to start a new life together. They had 2 daughters Denise Lou Knotts who did not live and Joyce Sue Knotts Baker who lives in Phoenix, AZ. After their working years, Goldie and Dick retired to Clarksville, AR. Her Arkansas family members were happy about that. They would all enjoy her laughter, her love for card playing and her joy for life. She had tremendous talent for sewing and cooking.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents,George Dewey and Velma, her husband Dick Knotts, her daughter Denise, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Goldie is survived by her daughter Joyce Baker and John Friesen. Brothers Lex and Gerald, Gerald’s wife Betty. Sisters Jean Hudson of St. Joseph, MO and Sue Morris of Lee’s Summit, MO, and sister in laws Connie James of Jasper, AR and Dot James of Palestine, TX.
We know by her own testimony that she was a follower of Christ and we are confident she is in the presence of Jesus today.
