Billie Lee Morris of Lee’s Summit, Missouri was born August 27, 1926 in Saint Joseph, Missouri and went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on April 2, 2021 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri at the age of 94.  He served in the military Army Air Force during WWII and the Korean Conflict.  He was a deacon at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, Arkansas.  Billie was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Jasper, Arkansas.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Couts and Virgil Morris, brother Jimmie Lee Morris and stepdad Roy Couts.

He is survived by his wife, Sue James Morris, one daughter, Darla and husband Rob Bliss of Lee’s Summit, MO, three sons, Dewey Morris and wife Cathy of Henderson, Texas, Douglas Morris and wife Jackie of Texarkana, Texas, and Daron Morris of Arcadia, Kansas.  Six grandchildren, Jennifer Wright and husband Dow.  Jason Morris and wife Laurel, Josh Morris and wife Lynette all of Austin, Texas, Jory and husband Chase of Texarkana,  Arkansas, Kyle Bliss and wife Laura of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Kallyn Bliss of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  Twelve great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
