Peggy Ann James, age 76, and a resident of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Peggy was born July 5, 1934 in Marshall, Texas, to Turner A. Newton and wife, Eddathe M. Brewer Newton. She was a high school graduate, a Baptist, and a housewife. She and George James were married August 2, 1952 in Marshall. He preceded her in death September 26, 2008.

Survivors include two daughters, Suzette Ewell and Nigel Uline, of Iowa Park, Texas; grandson, Mark Ewell; granddaughter, Stormy James; grandson, Matthew Morgan; and a brother, Nigel Newton of Marshall, Texas.
